Danish sculptor and textile artist Sadie Ruben makes one of a kind handmade girl’s dresses for Maid in the Forest. Her dresses are unique pieces of artwork, mixing colours and textures unlike anything you will find in the mass market. These inside-out dresses often have unfinished edges, top-stitching and others unique details.
Sadie uses vintage fabrics such as this Sanderson 1984 linen in rusty forest colours, she has combined it in the dress above with pink quilted satin insert.
