Carrie Jean makes lovely (home grown) lavender cushions in a wide range of vintage fabrics with either cashmere, angora wool, velvet or stripe ticking on the reverse.
The cushions pictured here are made with a vintage viyella fabric that Carrie Jean purchased from me on one side and a lovely muted purple cashmere which picks up the exact shade in the viyella fabric on the reverse – perfect!

Carrie doesn’t have a website, she feels that her lavender bags smell so yummy and need to be handled to be appreciated. She is stocked in 4 shops; two in Haslemere, one in Petersfield and one in Arundel under her company name Carrie Jean. The cushions measure about 10cm X 13cm and people like them to buy as gifts when they go to stay with friends or go for dinner or whatever; they’re great in drawers to ward off moths (lavender is a natural repellent) or on dressing tables etc. just to smell and look lovely!
